FLYING KITES is a non-profit organization based in the foothills of Kenya's Aberdare Mountains. The school serves as a center of excellence. Here, critically-poor students receive a competitive education, integrative health and social work services and access to holistic support. In addition to their comprehensive educational framework, they work with a network of partners to identify and address other barriers to learning to ensure that students are healthy, safe, engaged, challenged and supported. These interventions include a school feeding program, water and sanitation initiatives, programs to combat gender-based violence, health and wellness initiatives and livelihood support. Their LaunchPad initiative helps students enter adulthood as self-sufficient leaders, ready to multiply their impact as agents of change in their communities and beyond.

ETON'S STORY - Eton is in Class 6 - He sleeps in a stall, with a calf. Coming to school, getting three meals and a chance for a better life is the best part of his day.
