My name is Jennifer Gonzalez and I'm a documentary filmmaker and photographer currently located in the greater Los Angeles area.

I have a deep knowledge of original short form storytelling as well as the abilities to produce content on a variety of topics while working in creative, collaborative team environments. I'm adept at every element of the production process, including sourcing and pitching stories, production management, field production and directing, and shooting and editing.

I'm passionate about topics + conversations surrounding the environment, culture and community. I'm equally interested in the role the media plays in changing and/or sustaining those narratives.

I received my Master of Science degree in Digital Documentary from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, where I also received my Bachelor of Science degree in Photojournalism.

I've previously completed multiple Multimedia Fellowships with The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and field produced several short documentaries in Nepal, India, Africa, Indonesia, and The Dominican Republic.
